Anxiety is one of the most common issues that people come to me for help with. And with the many modern-day stressors and challenges we face, this doesn’t surprise me. The world can feel like a scary place to be at times can't it?
Anxiety can be debilitating and can affect the whole body. It might cause panic attacks, tightening of the chest, headaches, dizziness, fatigue, sickness and a whole host of other symptoms. It can feel like being stuck in a maze with no way out. I know….I’ve been there too. We can feel completely out of control of our minds, bodies and lives.
Hypnotherapy is a technique that has been used successfully for centuries to treat anxiety and to help people to manage stressful situations.
It works by enabling you to:
Fully relax your body and mind, bringing a sense of calmness;
Find and focus on the positives in your life, taking your attention away from anxiety-inducing thoughts;
Have deeper more restorative sleep so you wake up feeling refreshed, calmer and happier; and,
Become more resilient when any potentially anxiety inducing situations or thoughts arise in future.
A key benefit of my hypnotherapy sessions is that it’s not just the sessions themselves that you benefit from. I give you tools and techniques that you can take away and use in between sessions and beyond that will empower you to take back control of your own thoughts and mindset.
I’ve struggled with anxiety myself in the past and I know how horrible it is. I found that listening to a hypnosis audio was really helpful to relax, calm my mind and make me feel more in control of my life.
