Why do we experience stress and anxiety?
Stress is a natural response to a perceived threat or demand. It's the body's way of preparing us to face a challenge or danger. When we experience stress, our body releases hormones including cortisol and adrenaline, which can increase heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration, among other things.

Anxiety, on the other hand, is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be intense and persistent. It can be a natural response to stress, but it can also occur without any apparent cause.
Anxiety can cause a range of physical symptoms, such as panic attacks, restlessness, sweating, and a churning feeling in your stomach as well as cognitive and emotional symptoms, such as racing thoughts, irrational fears, and feelings of dread which can also play havoc with your sleep patterns. While stress and anxiety are different, they can often be related, with stress sometimes triggering anxiety or vice versa.
